Anyone who has a burning dating question, raise your hand! The national tour of Miss Abigail’s Guide to Dating, Mating and Marriage, starring Laurie Birmingham, is coming to Fort Lauderdale. The comedy will play the Broward Center from February 3 to February 4.
Written by Ken Davenport and Sarah Saltzberg, Miss Abigail’s Guide to Dating, Mating and Marriage is based on Abigail Grotke’s popular advice book about a relationship expert to the stars. The title character (Birmingham) and her sexy sidekick Paco (played by Gabriel Guitierrez) travel the globe teaching her outrageously funny “how-tos” on dating, mating and marriage.
Birmingham originated the role of Miss Abigail in Tampa, Florida before the show moved off-Broadway. She has appeared regionally in A Moon For The Misbegotten, Blithe Spirit and A Delicate Balance. She also appears on the Onion News Network. Guitierrez has appeared in New York in Three Sisters, Al’s Business Cards and Godot Has Left The Building. He has also appeared on TV in Without A Trace, Still Standing and Cracking Up.
